Hello all about 2 months back i picked up a new 2017 limited and i had the dealer install the all weather floor mats.
Do all new cars come with floor mats.
It often isn t but you should weigh your options carefully regardless.
But it s not like they took them out on you at least they shouldn t be the case.
I don t remember the price of the floor mats being listed on the car s invoice.
I pulled out the all weather ones figuring the regular carpeted ones would be underneath.
Some dealers may choose to defer any accessories so that the cars come as cheap as possible.
Our advice is simple.
However when your dealing with the salesman you can usually say i want floor mats and they will usually throw them in.
Now i will say most dealers are consistent.
Also often available are all weather floor mats which can help protect the car s original carpet mats.
With so many dealership extras to choose from how do you know when it s a smart idea to choose one.
Now that the snow is pretty much gone.
But in both instances i promply removed the carpet mats and replaced them with all weather mats.
This includes your floor mat.
But our dealer threw in the carpet mats on our last two new bmws.
Quick question just recently bought a 2009 x3 it was a demo and only has 5k miles on it.
Many limited editions do though.
I read an article that stated that certified pre owned cars are inclusive.
Either they order all cars with floor mats of some kind or they don t at all.
It was missing a lot of things cargo shade missing caps in the cargo area second key and some hooks that are in the wheel well area and the floor mats.
No new cars don t come with floor mats standard.
But no nothing under them.
My new 4runner ltd came with them.
