The overton s sole is quite a bit slicker when transitioning from wet outside conditions to a smooth inside surface such as poured concrete like you might have in a garage or linoleum. Even though i d read all the reviews i did get my regular size and they do tend to fit about a half size large. Reviewed in the united states on january 24 2017 i m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light. I finally bought these off amazon using a 20 off coupon combined with a gift card.

It is my favorite of the stumptown collection probably because i am a sucker for suede roughout and white wedge soles. For heavy duty comfort the danner mountain light ii is like stepping into a tank lined with velvet. The mountain light overton sole is made by vibram but is made of a slightly different material than the standard mountain light which is the classic hiking sole design. Overall though they are very comfortable.

Danner boots are known for narrow lasts so going up in width is common. Even though i d read all the reviews i did get my regular size and they do tend to fit about a half size large.
